Fruit Tree Orchard Grant

There is an organization that plants fruit tree orchards at schools.  As part of the grant application process, we have to guarantee that we have a group of volunteers willing to maintain the fruit trees once they are planted.

Fruit tree maintenance would require watering, pruning, and pest control as needed (especially over the summer months).  This represents a tremendous learning opportunity for our students.  If you are interested in this project, please email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   by this Friday and describe your level of fruit tree expertise in the email.

Although the organization does provide some training in fruit tree maintenance, it would also be helpful if we have a group of knowledgeable volunteers willing to commit to this project on behalf of our students.
