We will go...together...towards excellence and equity in teaching and learning, building vibrant community along the way.

Our bywords will be respect, integrity, caring, and personal responsibility. Our vision will be realized via the relentless drive and old-fashioned hard work of all its stakeholders. Members of DVA's organic community include all those with vested interests in our shared goals: parents, families, teachers, community members, and, central and preeminent in our community, DVA students themselves.  Organic systems are messy and sometimes unpredictable...we must not grow frustrated with a lack of apparent control. What we envision cannot be controlled, only shaped and directed.

We will not forget that the future of our world is in the hands of the generation we work to equip and empower.
