How you can help

The Da Vinci Academy is in a constant state of evolution, as you might imagine.  At the moment, our most pressing immediate instructional and classroom needs have been met by Hall County Schools.  In addition, 14 of our families have donated financially into the start-up costs for DVA, and almost half have donated significant time towards getting the school ready for opening on August 10, some at considerable cost to themselves.  One DVA dad has donated time, training, and web hosting for this site.

Further needs include several items for our community cafe, our various after-school explorations, and our school-based business capital needs. We are planning to have an in-house t-shirt industry and a school store along with our community cafe.  For these ventures, we are looking for a new or gently used sofa or loveseat, refrigerator, plants (live and artificial), and monies to invest in opening these ventures. As we plan to create and host exhibits in our on-site "Museum of Inspired Learning ," needs for exhibits will be ongoing.  For our first unit, we need plaster of Paris, chicken wire, and art supplies.  If you have the means to meet any of the needs mentioned, you may certainly make a contribution to Da Vinci Academy of a monetary or in-kind donation via our office at 3215 Poplar Springs Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507.  Please make any checks payable to South Hall Middle School and designate them for DVA in the memo line.In-kind donations may be delivered to the school, and a receipt may be requested from our administrative assistant.

All contributions are tax deductible.
